東方戦蒼記~Condemned Vergatorium Character Moveset: Ichirin Kumoi

The stage 3 boss of UFO is the obligatory slow powerhouse. Unusual for this type of character, she’s also a puppet user, using her trusty nyuudou Unzan for many of her attacks. His moves are particularly powerful, but one shouldn’t get too complacent, lest he runs out of power.

A Attacks

5A: A quick jab.

6A: A quick uppercut.

2A: A crouching jab

j.5A: A jumping downward jab.

B Attacks

5B: A reaching hook.

6B: A downward elbow. Hits overhead.

2B: A crouching low hook.

j.5B: A jumping elbow.

C Attacks

5C: A straight punch.

6C: A double thrusting straight.

2C: A double uppercut.

3C: A sweeping hook.

j.5C: A jumping hook.

Universal Mechanics

Forward Throw (5or6BC): Bashes her opponent away with her shoulder.

Backward Throw (4BC): Performs a backdrop.

Air Throw (j.BC): Slams her foe with a double downward punch

Guard Reversal (6AB on block) uses her 5B animation.

Guard Crush (5AB): Brings both her fists down on her foe.

Ichirin has a step forward dash.

Unique Ability (D): Unzan

5D or j.5D summons or unsummons Unzan, with 2D also being able to summon. He can perform a short ranged rocket punch (6D) or a downward punch that can hit airborne foes (2D) on the ground, while being able to use his rocket punch downward (j.2D),  forward (j.6D) or upward (j.8D) in the air.

Be aware that Unzan can only stay active as long as the Unzan gauge isn’t empty. It gradually depletes when he’s active and using him to attack also costs from this gauge, with the D normals costing 10% and Unzan Specials costing 15% if he’s active and 30% if he isn’t. It will regenerate on its own when he’s inactive, but Ichirin getting hit will deactivate him and put him on a regen cooldown for a few seconds. If he ends up depleting the gauge, he’ll vanish and Ichirin will be unable to use Unzan based attacks for several seconds.

Enchantment: Era of a Splendid Old Man

Forces the Unzan gauge to auto regenerate at a higher rate and amplifies the impact of his attacks.

Last Spell

Thunderous Yell “Traditional Old Man’s Scolding”
Punches her opponent on them stomach. If it hits, she’ll grab them and have Unzan zap them with his eye lasers. This deals more hits during High Tension.

Specials

Raging Running Cloud (214C/D) Unzan rapidly punches along with Ichirin, with the D version placing him ahead of her. Can perform if he’s unusable, but only she will punch and it’s weaker. In both cases it can be extended by tapping the button.

Hanging Cloud’s Iron Hammer (22A/B/C) Brings down a cloudy fist close (A), mid range (B) or far (C). Doesn’t require Unzan.

Handful of Floating Cloud (360or623B): Grabs with a cloudy hand forward (360B) or upward(623B), then slams them to the floor. A command grab that doesn’t need Unzan.

North Mountain Wind of Mercy (236C): Lunges with Unzan towards her foe and strikes them with an overhead punch.

Small Thundercloud (236A): Unzan extends two electrically charged fists then slams them together.

Sunrise of Mountain Clouds ([4]6D): Unzan fires an eye laser that sweeps the floor up to half screen.
